Kate feels that the key to providing the OT Service\u2019s clients with an excellent service is maintaining close networks within the commercial, housing and occupational therapy sector. Delivering quality service to end users demands a commitment across the healthcare<\/a> sector to a partnership approach one fuelled by sharing the latest knowledge, clinical practices and expertise.<\/p>\n Their passion for helping people to live independently and to enable people to enrich and enhance their lives with the right support and care is inspiring.<\/p>\n Kate Sheehan has presented her work on equipment, inclusive design and housing standards at The Royal College of Occupational Therapists Annual Conference, Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section Housing Conference (RCOTSSH<\/em>), and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists in Sydney, Australia.\u00a0 She has also lectured in Athens, Greece, Zagreb, Croatia and Banda Luka Bosnia.<\/p>\n Kate Sheehan teaches at Coventry, Bournemouth and Worcester Universities on the role of housing in the community, equipment provision and entrepreneurial practice.<\/p>\n Kate worked on a number of publication, with Bristol University on the publication of\u00a0\u2018Minor adaptations without delay<\/a>.\u00a0 She is co-author of the new\u00a0Wheelchair Housing Design Guide<\/a>\u00a0and co-wrote two chapters of a book for\u00a0newly qualified occupational therapists<\/a>.
