Kate Sheehan and her team has been providing expert consultancy advice to Repose and our clients for 5 years, helping us to shape every aspect of our chair development program and guide the future plans for our seating.<\/p>\r\n

Kate explains \u201cAt the OT Service we strongly believe in the principles of Person, Environment Occupation (PEO) Model of Occupational Therapy[1] when designing any item for the home or healthcare environment, working with a clear client goal centred approach ensures designs are fit for purpose every time\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

Kate has applied her valuable experience and expertise into enhancing our product research, chair designs and delivery processes across all our rise recliner<\/a> and healthcare seating<\/a> ranges to ensure we continue to be one of the UK\u2019s leading seating manufacturers.<\/p>\r\n

An essential part of our work is to ensure we share Kate and her team\u2019s expertise across our supplier network.<\/p>\r\n

Working closely with the OT Service, Repose offers supplier training <\/a>on seating assessment, for those involved in helping people choose a specialist chair that fits their individual need and for those providing a fully independent health and seating assessment for individuals. More one to one support can be offered to assist the development of supplier\u2019s own independent assessment programmes or to support specialist evaluations and assessments where an individual may have complex clinical needs.<\/p>\r\n
